The Bouquet Before the Storm

I cut these real quick as the sky clouded over. I'm glad I did, it ended up raining most of the week after that.

Yellow Iris

There have been a few bedraggled irises in the corner of our front yard that never gets any sun. They have been there since we bought the house five years ago and they have never bloomed. This year they finally did. I was pleasantly surprised to find they were yellow. The sun was shining through the trees directly on the blooms in this picture.
