Black squirrel returns!

It had been weeks since I had seen a black squirrel. But this morning, after dropping William and Beth off at the barn, Danny and I came home to find one at the feeder. :)

Snowy Plants

My bulbs have been trying to come up since Christmas! Here are some daffodils poking through the snow. They are surrounded by bird tracks.

I didn't cover the succulents growing in my little rock garden this last fall, but they seem to be surviving.

Weekend Snow

We didn't receive quite as much snow as the forcasts said we should, but it has still made everything quite pretty. Here are some before and after shots.

Snow Birds

Yesterday's snows have brought two new visitors to the feeder in the
backyard, Song Sparrows, and White-throated Sparrows! I know that
these are relatively common birds, but this is the first time I have
ever seen them in my yard. We also seem to have at least six Juncos
now. :)

Missing Sammy

I haven't seen Sammy since just before we left for Christmas vacation. Here is a picture that I managed to take of her in December. She had become quite used to taking the popcycle stick from my hand.
